Roof replacement in Mesa, AZ
A lot of East Mesa went up in the 1990s and 2000s, and those tile roofs are reaching the age where the felt underneath gives out. I'm Andy Johnson, owner of White Leaf Roofing. Before I sell you a full new roof, I'll check whether re-felting and relaying your own tiles does the job. Either way, most homes take 4 to 5 days. No salesmen, no pressure, ever.
Free inspection by Andy personally. Financing available. Licensed, bonded and insured.
The East Mesa story
Most Mesa tile roofs aren't done. Their underlayment is.
Drive through Las Sendas or Mountain Bridge and the rooflines look great. That's the trick of concrete tile: the tiles are armor, and they can outlast several underlayments. The felt beneath them is the actual waterproofing, and on the homes built in the 1990s and 2000s it's hitting the end of its useful life right about now.
That's why "tile roof replacement" in Mesa often shouldn't mean new tiles at all. If yours are healthy, we lift them, install new underlayment, and relay the same tiles. It's called a tile underlayment replacement, or re-felt and relay, and it's the most common job I do on this side of the Valley. You keep the tile you already paid for and skip the cost of new material.
If a storm is what finished the roof off, I'll document the damage and help with the insurance claim. And if you're not sure the roof is done at all, start with a free Mesa roof inspection and I'll tell you straight.
Material options
Re-felt, re-roof, or start fresh
Tile: re-felt and relay
If your tiles are in good shape, we reuse them over brand new underlayment. If they're brittle or discontinued, I'll say so and price a full tile roof replacement honestly. Two very different bids, and you'll know which one your roof actually needs.
Existing tiles often reusableShingle
The budget-friendly workhorse for a re-roof. Modern architectural shingles handle Arizona sun better than the old stuff, and a shingle roof typically serves 15 to 20 years before it's due again.
Most affordable up frontFoam & flat
For Mesa's flat and low-slope roofs, spray foam with the right coating schedule insulates, seals, and plays nicely with solar. I'll tell you straight whether yours needs a recoat or a redo.
Honest recoat-or-replace adviceThe underlayment is where a new roof cost in Mesa is really decided, so with every bid I bring real underlayment samples and you hold the options in your hands. You choose the price and quality point. I only put materials on your house that I'd put on my own.

Before you sign anything
How long does a roof replacement take in Mesa?
Most Mesa homes take 4 to 5 days depending on the size and complexity of the roof. My crew starts on time, protects your landscaping and driveway, and cleans up at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job.
Can you reuse my existing tiles when you re-roof my Mesa home?
In many cases, yes. If your tiles are healthy, we lift them, replace the failed underlayment beneath, and relay the same tiles. On the 1990s and 2000s tile roofs around Las Sendas, Mountain Bridge and northeast Mesa, that re-felt and relay is usually the honest recommendation, and it costs far less than a full new roof.
What does a new roof cost in Mesa, AZ?
It depends on the roof size, the material, and the underlayment you choose, so every job gets a free individual bid. I bring real underlayment samples so you pick the price and quality point yourself, and my lean crew means I'm almost always able to beat the big companies' bids.
How do I choose between roofing companies in Mesa, AZ?
Check the ROC license first; mine is #325377 and you can verify it yourself on the Arizona ROC contractor search. Then ask who actually inspects the roof and writes the bid. At White Leaf that's me, the owner, not a commissioned salesman, and 90% of my work comes from referrals.
Do you offer financing for a roof replacement in Mesa?
Yes, third-party financing is available if you'd rather spread the cost out. I'll go over the options with you at the estimate with zero pressure either way.
