I'm Andy Johnson. I never wanted a big roofing company, the kind with people answering phones, salesmen going out to bid jobs, and dozens of crews all over the Valley. I wanted to build a company that could be trusted. This page is how I do that.
My story
My dad ran a contracting business, and I grew up in it. By the time I was 18 I'd worked nearly every position on his crew: tear-off, hauling, loading, laying underlayment, setting tile. There's no part of a roofing job I haven't done with my own hands.
Spend 25 years in this industry and you see the good and, unfortunately, a lot of the bad. Fly-by-night outfits that aren't properly licensed. Companies that cut corners with cheap materials to protect their overhead. Salesmen who get paid to close, not to tell the truth.
So when I started White Leaf, I decided it would be the opposite of all that. I answer my own phone. I do every inspection and every estimate myself. And I personally oversee every job we take. That's how I make sure the work coming out of my company is work I'd sign my name to, because I do.
How I run the company
Call or text 480-363-2898 and you get me, not a call center. I do every inspection and every estimate personally, free. If I'm on a roof, I call you back.
I don't employ commissioned salesmen, so nobody profits by overselling you. Most repairs run $500 to $3,500, and if a repair is all you need, that's all I'll recommend. Here's how I decide.
I only put materials on your house that I'd put on mine, installed by a crew I hand-picked from the best people I've worked with in 25 years.
We start on time, clean up every single day, and finish when promised. No surprise costs after the job starts. If something pops up, we fix it. Period.
During the job
A lot of roofing companies are great right up until the contract is signed. Then the owner vanishes and you're left dealing with whoever shows up. That's not how this works at White Leaf.
I'm on your job, checking the work, keeping you updated on progress, and making sure my crew treats your home the way I'd want mine treated. Don't take my word for it. Take Bill's:

I'm not a salesman, and luckily I don't have to be. When someone feels comfortable recommending White Leaf to a friend, a neighbor, or their own family, I know we've done our job right. Nine out of ten jobs we take come from exactly that.
