What we repair
Monsoon wind comes across the foothills with nothing to slow it, and tiles near ridges and edges take the hit. Most tile roof repair in Gold Canyon is resetting or matching tiles, not replacing them.
Existing tiles often reusableA stain on the ceiling, a drip during the first real storm of the season. I find the actual source, which out here is usually uphill of where the water shows, and fix it right the first time.
Leaks go to the front of the lineThe felt under your tiles is the real waterproofing, and in Gold Canyon's full-sun exposure it cooks faster than it does in shadier neighborhoods. A failed section can often be repaired on its own.
Repair the section, not the roofChimneys, skylights, vents and valleys are where most leaks start, and thermal cycling out here works seals loose early. Aged flashing gets resealed or replaced so water goes where it should.

You deserve a real number before anyone climbs a ladder, so here it is: most repairs run $500 to $3,500. Where your job lands depends on what's damaged and how much of it there is, which is why every repair gets its own free inspection and its own individual bid. The drive out to Gold Canyon doesn't add a dime to either.
Plenty of roofers won't come this far east, or they pad the bid for the mileage. I don't. And when the damage runs past about $3,500, a replacement usually makes more sense; if we get there, I'll show you the math instead of just telling you. Many tile roofs out here don't need that at all. They need a tile underlayment replacement, which reuses your existing tiles and costs far less than a full new roof.

Yes. I'm based in Chandler and I make the drive to Gold Canyon myself for every inspection and estimate. It's free, I walk the roof personally, and distance doesn't change a thing.
Usually, yes. Cracked or slipped tiles can be reset or matched, and a failed section of underlayment can be repaired on its own. If the underlayment is going across the whole roof, we lift your tiles, re-felt, and relay the same tiles instead of selling you a roof you don't need.
Gold Canyon sits in open desert, so monsoon wind crosses the foothills with almost nothing to slow it down. It lifts and shifts tiles, works flashing loose, and drives rain under edges a calmer storm would never touch. Damage like that often shows no leak at first, which is why I do free walk-around inspections after big storms.
Yes. If the wind damage actually warrants a claim, I document it honestly with photos and help you through the process. If it doesn't warrant one, I'll tell you that too, because a small repair bill beats a claim on your record.
